Raymond competed for Winston Churchill High School for four years and stepped into a team captain role his senior year. Now pursuing a degree in Global Business at Georgetown University, Raymond brings 7 years of debate experience. As a competitor, he was ranked top 10 in the nation by the NSDA, championed University of Michigan, semifinaled Capitol Beltway, and reached quarterfinals at Columbia University and Manchester Essex. In total, Raymond amassed five career bids and qualified twice for the Tournament of Champions, reaching elimination round his sophomore year. Having coached over 300 students at 25 tournaments, his debaters have gone on to champion 7 tournaments, including Harvard, Stanford, and GMU. He enjoys helping students build lifelong confidence and public speaking skills and is excited to join NDC!
